One of the three young men who were reportedly abducted in Mlolongo last December has been found dead.

The body of Justus Mutumwa was positively identified at the Nairobi Funeral Home, previously known as City Mortuary.

Mutumwa, along with Martin Mwau and Karani Muema, went missing on December 16, 2024, and for over a month, the fate of the three men remained a mystery.

Mutumwa’s family was informed that his body had been retrieved from Ruai and taken to the Nairobi Funeral Home on December 18th—just two days after his disappearance.

This revelation comes amid continued denials by top police officials regarding the whereabouts of the three men.

Despite being summoned multiple times to court, Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mohammed Amin appeared in court on Thursday, where they denied having any information about the missing individuals.

Amin told the court that the investigation into the case was still ongoing.
