Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has departed Nairobi to lead Kenya’s delegation to the Fourth Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF) being held in Algiers, Algeria.

The high-level trade fair brings together government leaders, business executives, and investors from across the continent to explore opportunities for intra-African commerce and investment.

In a statement, Kindiki said Kenya’s participation underscores the country’s commitment to strengthening regional trade ties and harnessing opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

‘Departed with the Kenya delegation to participate in the Fourth Intra- Africa Trade Fair taking place in Algiers, Algeria,’he said.

The Intra-Africa Trade Fair, organized by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Union and AfCFTA Secretariat, is expected to provide a platform for countries to showcase trade and investment opportunities, promote innovation, and deepen economic integration across Africa.
