Mathare United coach, John Kamau has no doubt that his team is well prepared to take a win against Tusker in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League on Wednesday at Kasarani Stadium. Through a tree-planting exercise as part of the club’s green initiative, Kamau said the team has been working hard and is ready to deliver on the pitch.
‘We are ready, and the players are very motivated. We know that Tusker is a strong opponent, but our attention is on taking the three points,’ Kamau stated.
The tree-planting session which saw the participation of the players, technical staff, and supporters is Mathare United’s continuous effort to address climate change and promote environmental conservation. The move is in line with the club’s wider idea of using football as a tool for positive community impact.
