Kenyan businessman and socialite Madollar Mapesa has set tongues wagging on social media after issuing a vitriolic rant against critics who have branded him as arrogant and stingy.

In a furious Instagram diatribe, Madollar mocked individuals requesting loans from him, saying he only lends to people that he feels comfortable with. The flamboyant businessman, who boasts of his lavish lifestyle and unapologetic tactlessness, left no doubt that all are not qualified for his support.

Why are some of you bitter that I ain’t willing to lend you money?” Madollar wrote. “Even if you scream your head off, there ain’t no loan for you. Go to the bank.”

He kept on insulting those he referred to as “poor complainers,” stating that he would rather extend loans to his enemies than to people who bother him with constant requests.

“A poor man yapping is like a grasshopper swimming. My loans are given to people I feel comfortable with. Chokoraa teseka pole pole… I wanna repeat, I hate poor people.”

The remark had divided opinions on the internet. While some came out to support his right to choose whom he helps, others criticized him for being class and insensitive.

Madollar, though, seemed not to mind, claiming that his most of his critics are secretly envious of his success.

“You found me here and you wilstill leave me here. They come and go while Madollar is madollering each day,” he bragged.

He concluded his rant by advising loan applicants to “stay humble and follow the requirements” instead of spewing venom at him on social media.

“Don’t talk big to me. I’m above you, so just humble yourself,” he added.
