Former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has formally accepted his nomination as the Cabinet Secretary for Investment, Trade, and Industry.

In a statement expressing gratitude and commitment, Kinyanjui acknowledged the honor of serving the nation and thanked President William Ruto for entrusting him with the critical role.

“For God and country, I accept the honor of nomination to serve our nation as the Cabinet Secretary for Investment, Trade, and Industry. I take this opportunity to thank the President, H.E. William Ruto, for demonstrating confidence in my ability to steer this critical docket,” Kinyanjui stated.

He emphasized that integrity, respect for the Constitution, and honesty would be the guiding principles of his leadership as he prepares to assume office.

The appointment comes as the country seeks to boost its trade partnerships and investment opportunities, key pillars in President Ruto’s economic transformation agenda.

Kinyanjui’s vast experience in governance and economic matters is expected to bring strategic direction to the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry.
