City lawyer Silas Jakakimba and his wife, Florence Adhiambo, have parted ways just three years after their marriage.
In a statement, the two former lovers jointly announced their decision to separate after what they termed as careful reflection and mutual agreement.
The once-power couple expressed their gratitude for the love and support received from their families and spiritual leaders throughout, while contemplating the difficult decision.
"This decision was reached mutually and, with respect for one another, noting with deep appreciation and gratitude, the immense love and support from both sides of our innermost families and spiritual leaders as we sought to make this decision public," read the statement in part.The lawyer and Florence announced they will not be making any further public statements whatsoever regarding the separation and asked for privacy as they navigate the matter.
The duo got married in a mega wedding in 2021.
