Kithure Kindiki: "I've Proven My Capability to Keep Kenya Safe

Interior Cabinet nominee Prof. Kithure Kindiki expressed confidence in his reappointment, citing significant achievements in national security during his previous tenure.

Speaking on his track record during vetting exercise at National Assembly , Kindiki highlighted his efforts in maintaining safety and reducing crime across the country.

“I believe I’m suitable for reappointment because, during those 21 months in office, I’ve been able to keep the country fairly safe, especially in the fight against terror and also, the crime of banditry has reduced by more than 75%,” Kindiki stated.

Kindiki’s nomination for reappointment comes as Kenya continues to navigate complex security challenges.
