The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives have arrested a man suspected of aiding cheating in the ongoing 2024 KCSE.
Stephen Nyang’au Mbeche, the administrator of “KCSE 2024 Leakage Group” on Telegram, was arrested after a sustained surveillance operation.
A detailed search at his premises resulted in the seizure of a mobile phone and a laptop, his supposed tools of trade.
From the chats, Nyang’au asked parents and students on his Telegram channel to send him money to access the 2024 KCSE papers.
He guaranteed his ‘customers’ a B+ and above mean grade.
The suspect is being processed and is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday, November 12.
