Boda Boba riders in Dagoretti North constituency have forged a united front to foster trust between them and law enforcers, for a safer community and business environment in the area.
Addressing hundreds of Boda Boda riders in the constituency, Kilimani Ward MCA Moses Ogeto, lauded the operators for their pivotal role in provision of urban transport services for passengers and goods.
He noted that a safer environment in Dagoretti North would spur more business opportunities for the residents and well being of all road users.
On Tuesday, July 15, 2025 Ogeto held a meeting with hundreds of boda boda riders in Dagoretti North constituency, to discuss ways of improving security, in collaboration with the National Police Service and other security operators.
”My engagement with Boda Boda riders in Dagoretti North aims to strengthen community policing and foster trust between the riders and law enforcement officers”, the county legislator told the media.
Ogeto, who is also the Majority Whip in the Nairobi City County Assembly noted the vital role Boda Boda operators play in urban transport, their contribution towards a having safer environment for Dagoretti North residents and growth of businesses.
The MCA praised the riders for turning up in large numbers and their cooperation to ensure the programme was successful, especially towards improving safety on the roads for all users.
