Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering development projects to his constituents, despite facing political turbulence following his recent ouster as the Chairperson of the National Assembly Budget and Appropriations Committee.

Speaking during the launch of newly constructed administration offices in Kiharu, Nyoro emphasized that he would not be swayed by negative politics or non-developmental agendas. His remarks come just a day after addressing the nation regarding his removal from the influential parliamentary position.

However, the event took an unusual turn as key administration officers, including chiefs and other government representatives, were noticeably absent. Unlike his previous public engagements, which were often attended by local administrators, this time, only members of the public turned up to receive him.

The absence of government officials raised eyebrows, but the reasons for their non-attendance remain unclear.Despite this, the two-term MP remained unfazed, stating that he would not be distracted by political maneuvers.

His removal from the Budget and Appropriations Committee had sparked controversy, with accusations that he had allegedly allocated disproportionate funding to his constituency.Nyoro’s dismissal was part of a broader shake-up in the National Assembly leadership, which saw several changes in key positions.

However, he has maintained that his focus remains on championing development in Kiharu, regardless of political challenges. The MP’s remarks signal his intention to remain active in constituency projects and national politics, even as speculation grows about the political dynamics surrounding his removal from the powerful parliamentary committee.
