The turn-around time for passport processing has been a thorn in the flesh for Kenyans for many years. However, not anymore.
TUKIO.co.ke has established that the many challenges Kenyans had to cope with previously at the immigration office have been resolved and the process is now efficient, with processing taking less than two weeks.
This is seemingly thanks to the interventions by President William Ruto’s government, primarily through Kithure Kindiki during his tenure as the Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary. The interventions include the acquisition of more printers to speed up the printing process.
This publication sampled some comments from recent passport applicants, and this is what they said.
