Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has been left frustrated by endless questions from fans about her plans for motherhood in the future.
While taking part in an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked if she ever had any plans to have a baby of her own someday. Apparently unimpressed by the query, Huddah replied curtly, wondering why people care so much about what she does.
”Honestly, why is this the most trending question? Don’t y’all have anything better to pay attention to than my womb?” she wrote.
The remark has sparked debate online, with some supporting her right to privacy but others said questions about children are fair for public figures.
Huddah, known to be frank and leading a life of extravagance, had earlier on revealed that she enjoys her independence and aims at expanding her businesses. Her recent utterances, however, bring out the pressure most women in the public eye face when it comes to matters of marriage and family.
