Kikuyu musician Kareh B has marked the heavenly birthday of her late son, Joseph Mwadulo, with a deeply emotional message that has touched fans across the country. In her heartfelt post, she wrote: “Happy heavenly birthday Dulo… We miss you dearly and wish you were here to brighten our days. 17 doves for my Dulo.”
Joseph, fondly remembered as Joe or Dulo, was a bright and ambitious 17-year-old student at Chavakali Boys High School whose life was tragically cut short in the Easy Coach bus accident on April 1, 2024. He was heading home for the school holidays when the bus overturned along the Kisumu–Kakamega highway, leaving him as the only fatality. His sudden passing shocked the nation, especially because he had been widely known for his discipline, kindness and remarkable potential. He dreamt of becoming a pilot, a goal he pursued with confidence and determination.
Outside the classroom, Joseph was a talented basketball player and a key member of the Chavakali Boys team, often praised for his leadership and dedication. Friends and teachers described him as compassionate, socially conscious and always willing to help others especially students struggling with challenges like substance abuse.
Kareh B has often spoken about her son’s big heart and his ability to uplift those around him. Tributes from classmates, teachers, family, and fans consistently portray Joseph as a young man whose warmth, character and promise left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
