Kikuyu musician and influencer Karangu Muraya has announced the death of his brother, Paul Muraya, in an emotional message that has touched many of his followers. The content creator revealed that his brother had been battling injuries sustained in a road accident earlier in February 2025, a moment he said changed their lives completely.
Karangu shared that he had done everything within his means to support his brother’s treatment, including covering medical expenses, but the loss has left him deeply shaken. He admitted he is struggling to come to terms with the death, saying he does not know how he will move forward without his sibling. Despite the pain, he pledged to keep his brother’s memory alive and honour the legacy he leaves behind.

His second wife, Carol Kim, also paid tribute with a heartfelt message, recalling the final moments she shared with her brother-in-law. She described him as calm, radiant, and at peace, saying the brief moment brought her comfort even as the family faced the reality of losing him.
“Rest in peace, Paul Muraya. I saw you last night; you looked more handsome than ever before, calm, radiant, and at peace. It brought me comfort to see you that way, even if only for a moment. You may be gone from our sight, but you will forever live in our hearts. Rest well until we meet again,” she wrote.
Carol also expressed gratitude to the medical team at Consolata Hospital Mathari for their care and support during his treatment. She praised their compassion, professionalism, and dedication, noting that they stood by the family during a difficult period and ensured Paul was treated with dignity until his final moments.
