Kenya is set to host the Connected Africa Summit (CAS) 2025, a premier gathering aimed at driving Africa’s digital transformation agenda.

The summit, organized by the ICT Authority, will take place from May 26 to 29, 2025, at the Diamond Leisure Resort and Spa in Diani, Kenya.

Speaking at the CAS 2025 Partners’ Breakfast Meeting, ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo emphasized that the summit’s theme, “The Digital Journey: Vision to Reality,” is a call to action for African nations to move beyond ambition and implement tangible digital solutions.

“The Connected Africa Summit 2025 provides a critical platform for policy leaders, technology pioneers, investors, and industry captains to collaborate in shaping the continent’s digital future,” Kabogo stated.

He assured stakeholders that the Kenyan government, through the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy, is committed to ensuring that CAS 2025 becomes a defining moment in Africa’s digital journey.

The Partners’ Breakfast Meeting was attended by key government and industry figures, including PS ICT and Digital Economy, Eng. John Tanui; ICTA Board Chairperson, Mr. Sylvanus Maritim; ICTA CEO, Mr. Stanley Kamanguya; Special Envoy on Technology for the Republic of Kenya, Ambassador Philip Thigo; ODPC Data Commissioner, Ms. Immaculate Kassait; and other ICTA Board members, private sector stakeholders, and public officials.

Kabogo expressed confidence that CAS 2025 will serve as a catalyst for Africa’s digital evolution, fostering cross-border partnerships and unlocking new opportunities in technology, innovation, and investment.
