Juja Member of Parliament George Koimburi has been arrested.
Koimburi was nabbed outside his home in Juja on the morning of Tuesday, February 18 and taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters along Kiambu Road for questioning.
The motive for the arrest of the lawmaker, who is a vocal critic of President William Ruto’s government, is yet to be established.
His arrest comes days after sensationally claiming that the government spent KSh 13 billion taxpayers’ money to bankroll Raila Odinga’s African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship campaign.
