The influential Lmasula clan wields an important political influence, and its formal endorsement of day Governor Lati Lelelit 2027 gubernatorial re-election bid constitutes no less than a political power supply to the Samburu County chief.

Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a and Limuru MP John Kiragu, while addressing a public meeting in Kiambu, appealed to residents to engage the leaders in close-working partnerships for quick development.
“During the history of our country, this is the moment when we must do what is proper for the people, i.e., concentrate on service delivery and not get involved in politics,” said MP Ng’ang’a
On the other hand, Zainab Fatuma, Migori County Woman Representative, has declared that President William Ruto holds the lead under no scrutiny going into the 2027 elections.
Among other things, she commended Ruto’s administration for its inclusiveness and reforms such as the Social Health Authority scheme which she observed ordinary Kenyans will benefit a lot from.
Apart from that, in Laikipia County, opposition ODM party unrest has been revealed by local officials who have disowned the comments made by Mukogodo West MCA Nicholas Lempaira that criticized ODM leader Raila Odinga during the burial of former MP Mathew Lempurkel.
The officials condemned Lempaira words as irresponsible and attributed them to a sympathizer of the Democratic Citizen Party. “In case he is unhappy with ODM leadership, the solution is to quit rather than to go on and attack our party leader,” said one ODM official.
