President William Ruto has said that the government has established blocks that will unlock the full potential of the blue economy in the Country.
Ruto said this on his second tour of Nyanza region in Homa Bay during the closure of the Blue Economy Summit.
He as accompanied by former prime minister Raila Odinga , Gladys Wanga (governor) among others.
“We have built blocks that will unlock the full potential of our blue economy,’Ruto said.
He added that through capacity development, better infrastructure and the scaling up of the aquaculture space, the sector will contribute more to the growth of our economy.
