Gor Mahia has bolstered their squad with the signing of Ghanaian midfielder George Amonoo as they intensify their push for the Football Kenya Federation Premier League title.
Last season, Gor Mahia finished as runners-up, with Kenya Police FC taking the championship. They also fell short in the Mozzart Bet Cup final, losing to then-National Super League side Nairobi United.
In a bid to reclaim domestic dominance, the club appointed Ghanaian coach Charles Akonnor, who arrived with a backroom team comprising fellow countrymen: Kobi-Mensah Bismark as assistant coach, Ben Owu as goalkeeping coach, and Joshua Boafo as video analyst.
Amonoo, 26, is an attacking midfielder known for his versatility, capable of playing on either wing.
He has been a free agent since August 2024, following the end of his three-year spell with Ghanaian side Karela United.
