Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Professor Ngugi Njoroge, a cherished friend and distinguished academician and media personality working with Royal Media Service .
In a statement, Gachagua praised Professor Njoroge as a prolific political commentator whose razor-sharp oratory skills enriched discussions on national development.
Professor Njoroge’s contributions were particularly notable on Inooro FM’s Keera Show and other platforms where he provided educative and insightful commentary.
“I had a privilege of being hosted by Prof Njoroge on this informative show; we enjoyed quality discussions as was his characteristic. Indeed, he redefined the role of the media in driving development. Beyond the profession, Professor Njoroge was profusely humorous, warm and charming.” he said.
