Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hosted a delegation of lawyers from the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) at his Wamunyoro residence on Saturday morning for a candid discussion on Kenya’s political and governance landscape.
The delegation was led by prominent lawyer Wakili Steve Mbugua.
During the meeting, Gachagua acknowledged the valuable insights brought forth by the legal experts, particularly on matters of constitutional law, human rights, and governance.

“It was a thought-provoking conversation that shed light on their perspectives and offered valuable insights into the complexities of our nation’s governance,” Gachagua stated.

He further emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting and upholding fundamental rights and freedoms for all Kenyans.

The discussions underscored the critical role of legal professionals in shaping policies and ensuring adherence to the rule of law.

“It is very clear from the outset that their expertise and collective experience would bring a unique and valuable contribution to our discussions,” he added.
