President William Ruto,during his visit to Ningde City in Fujian Province in China, has described Ningde as a shining example of what is possible.
He noted that the success of China’s poverty alleviation efforts, particularly in Ningde, aligns with Kenya’s own ambitions under The Plan to eradicate poverty in Kenya.
“We endeavour to apply some of the valuable lessons from Ningde City, and China in general, to our own poverty eradication efforts,” President Ruto stated.He noted that the Ningde Poverty Alleviation Exhibition Hall demonstrates that poverty can be eradicated through modernization and coordination in leadership.
“The Ningde Poverty Alleviation Exhibition Hall is a powerful demonstration of the possibilities that can be achieved through modernisation when there is will, coordination and synergy in leadership,” highlighted President Ruto.
