Popular Kenyan choreographer and content creator Collins Kuria, known by fans as Collo Blue, has revealed a lesser-known chapter of his life working at a mortuary for five years.
Speaking on the Obinna Live Show, Collo shared that since 2021, he served as a grief and loss therapist at a mortuary, offering emotional support to bereaved families. “Most people I know have met me there,” he said, choosing not to disclose the mortuary’s name.
While fans recognize Collo for his vibrant dance routines and creative online content, his admission shed light on his background in therapy a role he fulfilled long before fully immersing himself in the entertainment world.
His revelation stunned many who assumed dance was his sole passion, but it painted a deeper picture of empathy and resilience.
Beyond his personal journey, Collo is also the founder and CEO of Cluster KE, a creative hub that mentors young artists and nurtures innovation in dance. His leadership continues to shape Kenya’s creative and contemporary dance landscape.
