Former Churchill Show comedian Morey Wakibiru has joined Radio Africa Group’s Gukena FM, taking up a new role on the station’s morning show.
Announcing the move through an emotional statement on social media, Morey described the opportunity as a “new chapter” in his comedy journey.
“Today, I step into a new journey — humbled, emotional, and deeply grateful. I officially take on my new role as a Radio Comedian at Gukena FM Kenya,” he wrote.
Morey replaces MC Kajim, who recently exited the station, marking a new era for Gukena FM’s popular morning segment known for its humor and engaging banter.
He thanked his fans and supporters for their continued encouragement, adding, “When the time is right, God opens doors no hand can close.”
