Isaiah Murangiri, the police officer accused of murdering student activist Rex Masaai, has finally been taken to court.

This milestone in the fight for justice was celebrated at the Jacaranda Grounds, where murals of Masaai and fellow activist Bob Njagi stand as symbols of defiance and resistance.

During the gathering, Booker Omole, the leader of the Communist Party of Kenya, addressed the crowd, thanking the masses for their relentless advocacy.

“Without the noise you made on social media, the police officer who shot Rex Masaai would not have been prosecuted,” Omole stated.

He highlighted the party’s commitment to representing the interests of Kenya’s poor and working-class communities.

Omole reaffirmed the Communist Party’s dedication to revolution and social justice, calling on citizens to build the party together.

He criticized Kenya’s leadership, symbolized by President William Ruto, as failing to address systemic oppression.

Masaai’s murder has galvanized public outcry against police brutality, with activists and citizens demanding accountability.

The Jacaranda Grounds event underscored the enduring fight for justice and the growing call for systemic reforms.
