Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has called on the people of Western Kenya to embrace unity and rally behind President William Ruto’s leadership, saying the region’s progress depends on collective effort, peace, and faith.

Speaking on Sunday during a thanksgiving service at the African Divine Church Headquarters in Boyani, Vihiga County, Mudavadi said the Western region stands to benefit greatly from the government’s development agenda if leaders and citizens work together with one vision.

The service, attended by President Ruto and a host of leaders from the region, marked the end of a week-long development tour across Western Kenya.

During the tour, the President and his delegation commissioned and launched several projects aimed at improving infrastructure, enhancing access to clean water, boosting agriculture, and empowering youth and women through economic programs.

Mudavadi, who is one of the senior-most leaders from the region, noted that the government’s ongoing projects in Western Kenya are a clear sign of the President’s commitment to equitable development across the country.

He urged residents to support the administration’s vision and stay united regardless of political differences.

“The fellowship marked the conclusion of our week-long development tour across the Western region, a journey through faith and progress where we launched and commissioned key projects aimed at transforming lives, expanding opportunities, and strengthening the foundation of our shared prosperity.” he stated.

The Prime Cabinet Secretary also expressed gratitude to the people of Western Kenya for their warm reception throughout the tour, saying their enthusiasm and support reflected the region’s readiness to embrace change and development.
