Esther Passaris caught public attention after responding to a young man who had been walking around Nairobi with a placard requesting a dinner date with her.
The man, identified as Kennedy Arnold, politely asked the legislator for a chance to meet over dinner whenever her schedule allowed and even shared his contact details on the sign.
Passaris later revealed that she managed to speak with Kennedy, who currently works at a construction site. Instead of accepting the dinner invitation, the Nairobi Woman Representative proposed that they meet for lunch, saying she would like to hear his views on leadership, service, and the future of the city. She also invited Nairobi residents to suggest a good place for the meeting.
Kennedy said Passaris has already contacted him and told him that her team would communicate further details about the meeting.
