Guardian Angel’s wife, Esther Musila, was left incensed after a section of Kenyans on social media made light of Raila Junior Odinga’s condition with insensitive memes and videos.
Esther, in a post on Instagram, lashed out at the creators of the posts calling their actions “disgusting and painful.” She blamed the creators of the posts for taking advantage of an individual’s health condition to gain views and likes.
“Most despicable and agonizing thing I have seen so far today. All in the name of views and likes! May every one of you never experience peace! This is what content creation has become despicable to the core!” she wrote.
Her statement comes after a viral video that was uploaded online mocking Raila Junior, which provoked widespread outrage from followers and public figures who urged content creators to be empathetic and compassionate.
Many Twitter users have since criticized the taunting, following Esther in describing it as cyberbullying disguised as entertainment.
