Seasoned journalist Eric Latiff has swiftly transitioned to a new position at Nation Media Group’s NTV, just hours after announcing his exit from the embattled Standard Group.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the media industry, Latiff’s move to Nation Media Group (NMG) marks an exciting new chapter in his esteemed career.

Simaloi Dajom, NMG’s Head of Broadcasting, confirmed Latiff’s appointment on January 6, commending his extensive expertise across television, radio, and digital platforms.

“Latiff is a highly respected media figure, known for his creativity, passion, and exceptional track record. With more than 27 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to advancing new media,” said Dajom.

He also highlighted that Latiff’s appointment aligns with NMG’s strategic focus on innovation and enhancing its broadcast offerings, while creating engaging multimedia content that resonates with audiences.

Prior to his departure, Latiff was the co-host of The Situation Room on Spice FM, where he worked alongside CT Muga and Ndu Okoh. His insightful interviewing style earned him a dedicated following during his five-year tenure.

In his farewell message, Latiff expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support throughout his time with the Standard Group.
