Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reiterated his focus on development, insisting that his tenure will not be used for political showmanship but for delivering critical services to Kenyans.
Speaking during the inspection of the Sh1.1 billion Gwa Kiongo–Gituamba–Kabazi Road project in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, Kindiki said the Kenya Kwanza government is committed to improving infrastructure, markets, and electricity connectivity across the country.
“The work of government is not to incite; it is to take care of the needs of the people. This is the time to build roads, markets, and electricity. The time for politics will come,” said Kindiki.
The Deputy President warned politicians against engaging in premature campaigns, urging leaders to focus on service delivery and completion of stalled projects.
“We have more work to do, and because things have stabilized, we now have funds for new developments and completion of pending ones,” he stated.

Kindiki affirmed his unwavering support for President William Ruto, saying his duty is to help the Head of State fulfill promises made to Kenyans.
“My work is to assist the President to deliver roads, markets, better prices for farm produce, and development projects to every part of the country,” he said.
He assured Nyandarua residents that no road project will be abandoned, pledging the revival of infrastructure initiatives in areas such as Ndaragwa, Kipipiri, Ol Jorok, and Kinangop to spur economic growth.
“In addition to roads, we are constructing markets in Ol Kalou and other parts of the county. Once the roads are complete, farmers will easily transport produce like cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and milk to market—on time,” he added.
