Suspected drug trafficker Nancy Kigunzu commonly known as Mathe wa Ngara is set to lose her multi-million shilling properties to the state.
This is after the Assets and Recovery Agency (ARA) obtained court orders to seize Mathe wa Ngara’s properties believed to be proceeds of crime and drug dealing.
The properties include four parcels of land in Juja, three pieces of land in Vihiga registered under George Inguti and Scolastica Wambui Kibathi, three cars and an apartment in Juja.
High Court judge Benjamin Musyoki issued orders prohibiting Mathe wa Ngara and her associates from dealing with the said properties.
"That an order is hereby issued directing the chief land registrar to register a caveat against the records of the properties specified," Musyoki directed.Musyoki also barred Mathe wa Ngara from selling or transferring three motor vehicles and ordered her to surrender the cars’ logbooks within seven days.
