Mathare United played trying to pass K'Ogalo counterpart.

Gor Mahia started their FKF Premier League with a roar after they were bundled out of CAF Champions league.

K’Ogalo thrashed Mathare United 4-0 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, recording the most goals they have beaten them.

They achieved a near this fete in 2015 when they beat Mathare 4-2.

Shariff Musa and Austin Odhiambo were key to the victory as they combined well for the first two goals before the third arrived from an unlikely source and the fourth in time added on.

Just before halftime Musa squared the ball to Odhiambo gave the K’Ogalo a 1-0 lead.

Three minutes after, Musa doubled the lead after seeing his shot deflect of a Mathare defender.

Ochieng would add the third 15 minutes from time before new signing Gideon Bendeka completed the rout as K’Ogalo collected three points in their first match of the season.

It was a good league opener for Gor Mahia days after Egyptian side Al Ahly eliminated them from the continental tournament.
