The proprietor of Savannah Clinker Benson Sande Ndeta has been arrested in connection to the KSh 700 million fraud at the company.

The industrialist was nabbed by the police and taken to the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road for questioning before being transferred to the Muthaiga Police Station.

Ndeta was arrested following a warrant of arrest issued on him and his alleged accomplice, Charles Hill Jr who is an American national.

The businessman is facing multiple charges that have been approved by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), including forgery, conspiracy to defraud, obtaining credit by false pretenses and uttering false documents.

Ndeta has received political backing from Azimio leaders since his arrest.

Notably, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalwa visited him at Muthaiga Police Station seeking his release on bond.
