The County Executive Committee Member for Green Maureen Njeri said the park has been open since September 28 but now it is fully operational.

She said the park has hosted over 2,000 visitors over the past two weekends.
“Uhuru Park is a vital part of Nairobi’s heritage, and we’re happy to see Nairobians returning to enjoy its beauty,” said Njeri.
