Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards has parted ways with the acting Chief Executive Officer Albert Wesonga.
In a brief statement posted on the club’s social media platforms this morning, they stated the decision was made after the expiry of his contract.
“This is to notify our esteemed customers, suppliers, and the general public that Albert Wesonga is no longer the Acting CEO of AFC Leopards SC following the expiry of his contract. He is therefore not authorized to conduct any business on behalf of AFC Leopards SC or represent the club in any capacity,” the club announced.
Wesonga was appointed in October last year to step into the CEO role on interim basis after the exit of Victor Bwibo who had served for five years.

The announcement comes few hours after the club said their match against Mara Sugar FC was set for Sunday has been postponed to undetermined date.
The 12-time league champions are currently placed fourth on the league table with 10 points.
On Wednesday they were thrashed 1-0 by the Murang’a Seal, just three days after a 1-1 draw against Kariobangi Sharks.
