Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to regional stability, economic integration, trade, investment, and infrastructure development within the East African Community.
Speaking in Munyonyo, Kampala City in Uganda, Kindiki said Kenya remains focused on strengthening regional cooperation to accelerate socio-economic transformation across East Africa.
The Deputy President noted that regional partnerships are critical in promoting trade, improving infrastructure connectivity, and enhancing investment opportunities among member states of the East African Community.
“Kenya remains committed to regional stability, economic integration, trade and investment, and infrastructure development to accelerate the socio-economic transformation of the East African Community,’DP said in a statement.
During his visit to Uganda, Kindiki also met staff of the Kenya High Commission alongside the Kenyan delegation, where he urged the officers to serve with patriotism, professionalism, and commitment to protecting Kenya’s interests abroad.
According to the Deputy President, diplomatic missions play a key role in advancing Kenya’s foreign policy objectives and strengthening bilateral and regional relations.
