Media Personality Natalie Githinji

Media personality Natalie Githinji has been admitted to a hospital following a severe flare-up endometriosis, a chronic condition she has openly described as her “worst nightmare.”

Sharing on her Instagram page, her close friend Laura Mbatha revealed Natalie is unwell but is receiving medication to help manage the severe pain caused by the condition.

“She is not okay, but she has been given medication to manage the pain because, as we all know, endometriosis has no cure yet. The best they can do for now is managing the pain,” Laura said in a statement.

She hopes she will get better soon, as she is a strong girl who has always overcome challenges when she goes to the hospital. Laura went further to thank Kenyans for their prayers and support for Natalie since she was admitted.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out to say pole… I let her know because it means a lot for her to know that people are thinking of her and wishing her well,” she said.

Natalie has been an advocate for awareness, using her platform to shed light on the struggles faced by women living with endometriosis. Recently, she appealed to the Kenyan government to strengthen healthcare support for women battling the condition, emphasizing the need for systematic change.

Laura has stated Natalie is under doctors’ care while the doctors continue managing her condition. She added she will share updates when Natalie fully recovers.
