Zanzibar First Lady Mariam Mwinyi visited Tanzanian music artists Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz at Saifee Hospital in Dar es Salaam following the birth of their baby girl.
The First Lady paid them a visit and congratulated the couple on the arrival of their daughter. She presented flowers to the couple.
“Nawapongeza kwa kujifungua salama na ninawatakia kheri wewe pamoja na mtoto wenu afya njema, maisha marefu yenye baraka na mafanikio,” Mariam said.
The couple thanked Mariam for taking time out her schedule to visit them, saying her gesture brought comfort and encouragement to their family during this special moment.
For Zuchu, this marks her first child, a milestone for her, while for Diamond, the baby is his fifth child, already having children with Zari Hassan, Hamisa Mobetto and Tanasha Donna.
Fellow Tanzanian artist such as Rayvanny have also visited Zuchu and Diamond at the hospital, gifting them eight flower bouquets and a cash gift.
Rayvanny said the eight flower bouquets represent the baby’s birth in the eighth month of the year and he congratulated Zuchu on the new arrival.
