PSC jobs 2026: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has opened a major recruitment drive, announcing more than 770 job opportunities across several ministries and state departments.
In a notice published on May 5, 2026, the commission invited qualified graduates and professionals to apply for positions in key government offices. These include the National Treasury, Ministry of Internal Security and National Administration, Ministry of Roads, State Department for Housing and Urban Development, and the State Department for Correctional Services, among others.
The vacancies cover a wide range of roles, from entry-level to senior positions. Some of the advertised entry-level jobs include weights and measures officers, trade development officers, co-operative officers and auditors, as well as communication and media roles such as information officers, public communication officers, and photojournalists. There are also opportunities in regional integration and agriculture, including lecturer and instructor positions.
At the senior level, the commission is seeking candidates for leadership and management roles, particularly in peace building and conflict management, probation services, and reception services. These include positions such as directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, and secretaries within the relevant departments.
