New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art glittered brighter than ever last night at the Met Gala 2026, as celebrities arrived in lavish and amusing attire.
Unfolding under the theme, “Costume Art” with a dress code of “Fashion Is Art,” the event co-chaired by musician Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman. This year, the event broke its tradition by welcoming family members under the age of 18, a move that refined the Gala’s exclusivity.
The event’s guest list arrived in starry styles, each every one taking the red carpet as if they owned it. The red carpet was a live art gallery featuring celebrities such as Global Editorial Director of Vogue Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Osaka, Venus Williams, ASAP Rocky, Jay Z, Joshua Henry, Colman Domingo, Heidi Klum, Bad Bunny, Angela Basset, among many others.
The Gala’s wasn’t just about gowns; it was about breaking the rules and redefining art and including the presence of Hollywood artists.
