National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula on Tuesday hosted Farid Ouahid Dahmane for a high-level courtesy call at his office within Parliament Buildings, in a meeting that signals renewed momentum in Kenya–Algeria relations.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties between Kenya and Algeria, with Wetang’ula reaffirming the long-standing friendship and cooperation shared by the two nations.

“I had the honour of hosting the Algerian Ambassador to Kenya, His Excellency Farid Ouahid Dahmane, who paid me a courtesy call at my office within the Parliament Buildings,”he said.

He emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in deepening engagement and fostering mutual growth.

The Speaker noted that the visit reflects the enduring and cordial relations between the two countries, adding that both sides are keen on expanding collaboration across key sectors.

He highlighted the growing role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in enhancing diplomatic relations and promoting shared interests.
