National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has underscored the importance of education in driving economic growth and development.
Speaking in Kwanza Constituency, Trans Nzoia County, Wetang’ula officially opened a modern classroom block at St. Francis Kolongolo Girls Secondary School, describing education as a critical catalyst for forward-looking development across the globe.
“I have officially opened a modern classroom block at St. Francis Kolongolo Girls Secondary School in Kwanza Constituency, Trans Nzoia County. The construction of the magnificent building, which cost Ksh. 20 million, was funded by the NG-CD,’he posted on social media.
The new facility, constructed at a cost of KSh20 million, was funded through the NG-CDF under the leadership of area MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi, who is currently receiving treatment in India.

Wetang’ula wished the legislator a quick recovery and commended his efforts in supporting education initiatives in the constituency.

The event was attended by Environment CS Deborah Mulongo, Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang, Webuye East MP Martin Pepela, and former CS Susan Nakhumicha, among other leaders.
