Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has announced that President William Ruto will soon address the Nairobi City County Assembly, signalling renewed momentum in efforts to transform Nairobi.
Speaking after a high-level meeting on the Nairobi Rising Programme, Mudavadi said the address will highlight progress and outline plans to fast-track key projects in infrastructure, housing, water and sanitation.
“The meeting comes ahead of H.E. President Ruto’s address to the County Assembly, signalling strong momentum for the Nairobi Rising Programme, “he said in a statement.
He noted that closer coordination between the national government and the county, led by Governor Johnson Sakaja, is already helping accelerate service delivery.
Mudavadi said the focus remains on making Nairobi cleaner, safer and more competitive.
