The state-of-the-art Bomas International Convention Complex, under construction, is taking shape with President William Ruto announcing that it will be ready by April 2026.
Taking to social media, President Ruto said the project is being delivered around the clock, employing up to 3,000 workers daily to ensure its scheduled completion.
The facility, which boasts, among others, 10,000-seater meeting rooms and a VIP hall for up to 30 presidents, is designed to meet modern global conference standards and positions Kenya as Africa’s leading conference destination.
Notably, even before its completion, the complex has already been booked to host the France-Africa Summit on May 12, 2026
The project, President Ruto noted, demonstrates his administration’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure that propels Kenya towards first-world status.
