Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday received a special gift of a dozen sheep from Nyandarua elders, in a symbolic gesture of respect and unity.
The delegation, led by Nyandarua Senator John Methu, visited the Deputy President at his Wamunyoro residence, accompanied by Muthamaki Ng’era Boro, Hon. Ndegwa Wahome, MBS, and Isaac Githui.
Senator Methu in a social media statement emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and harmony among leaders from the Mount Kenya region, saying, “We’ll continue engaging, because Kwaria ni kwendana,” meaning “conversation is about walking together.”
”We’ll continue engaging, because Kwaria ni kwendana. This morning, at the Wamunyoro residence, we met H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH with elders from Nyandarua Muthamaki Ng’era Boro, Hon. Ndegwa Wahome,MBS and Isaac Githui,” He posted.
