Content creator Faustine Lipuku alias Baba Talisha has touched the hearts of the online community with a heartfelt trbute to his parents following their retirement after serving as teachers.The father of two reflected on the end of an era. His father retired cfrom the teaching profession on June 30 followed by his mother who retired today on July 5th. He paid tribute to their endless dedication in the teaching profession for over 30 years.
on his social media pages, he wrote, “My heart is overwhelmed. It feels like the end of an era… one filled with discipline, sacrifices, dusty chalkboards, muddy school shoes, and love that never asked for anything in return.For over 30 years, both of you woke up before sunrise, walked into classrooms full of children who were not just students but dreams you molded,”
He thanked his father for instilling wisdom and quiet strength in him. He also credited his mother with teaching him to stand up for what is right and wished them both a peaceful and joyful new chapter. He wrote, “Now, the bells have rung for the last time. The chalk has been set down.And as you both walk home this time not to prepare for the next school day but to rest… I can only cry and say thank you. May this next chapter be filled with peace, health, and joy. You both have earned your crowns. I’m so proud to be your child.”
