President William Ruto today received credentials from four high commissioners and two new ambassadors at State House, Nairobi.
The newly commissioned envoys expressed their commitment to fostering mutually beneficial bilateral ties with Kenya for their respective countries.
Among those who presented their credentials were Ambassador Erika Alvarez Rodriguez of the Dominican Republic and High Commissioner Ernest Kan (Republic of Singapore) with residence in Pretoria and Jarkata respectively.
Others are High Commissioners Chiranjib Sarker of People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Peter Kakowou Lavahum (Republic of Sierra Leone), Rwanucyo Ernest (Republic of Rwanda) and Ambassador Anthony Louis Kon of South Sudan.
Only after this ceremony are ambassadors and high commissioners recognised as the representatives of their countries.
