Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki has accused opposition leaders of engaging in constant politicking and incitement instead of offering constructive solutions to the challenges facing the country.
Speaking on Tuesday morning at his official residence in Karen after a meeting with leaders from Nyandarua County, Prof. Kindiki emphasized the Kenya Kwanza administration’s commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises.”The opposition must rise above mere rhetoric and contribute meaningful alternatives to the issues affecting Kenyans,” he said, adding that continued political grandstanding was unproductive and only served to divide the nation.
The Deputy President reaffirmed that the government remains focused on delivering its development agenda, calling on political leaders across the divide to engage in issue-based dialogue rather than inciting public unrest.“We are committed to transforming the lives of Kenyans as we promised. Our focus is on service delivery, not endless political sideshows,” he said.
His remarks come at a time of heightened political tension, with opposition leaders mounting criticism of the Kenya Kwanza administration’s handling of the economy and public service reforms.
Prof. Kindiki urged for calm and unity, calling on all leaders to seek political solutions that prioritize the needs and aspirations of the people.
