Tanzanian music sensation Zuchu has officially announced the resolution of her payment dispute with the CHAN agency, bringing an end to weeks of speculation surrounding the matter.
The Sukari hitmaker took to her Instagram Stories to confirm she has received her outstanding balance for her performance at the CHAN 2024 finals, held in Nairobi on August 30.
In her post, Zuchu expressed sincere gratitude to her fans and supporters, crediting them for helping to raise awareness and apply pressure on the agency to settle the matter.
“I want to thank my good people who made sure our message got across to the agency involved with CHAN,” she wrote.
She went on to confirm that the issue had been fully resolved, posting in bold:
“I have received my balance — Thank you, we move.”

Prior to the resolution, Zuchu had publicly demanded payment, warning that she would consider taking further action if the matter was not addressed promptly.
The announcement marks a positive conclusion to the standoff, which had sparked conversation online about artists’ rights and fair compensation.
