Egyptian side Zamalek SC squad is around ahead of the highly-awaited Confederation Cup second-round match against the Kenya Police FC tomorrow afternoon at Nyayo stadium in Nairobi.
The law enforcers secured their place in this critical round clash following a hard-fought 1-0 aggregate victory over Ethiopia Coffee SC in the first round.
Rashid Toha’s significant goal in the second leg paved the way for what is now one of the club’s biggest matches in its history.
Police FC is making their continental debut first appearance.
Tomorrow’s showdown is a serious test for the Afandes and the big question is whether they will beat the decorated, defending champions.

Police FC is however determined to make the most of their home-ground advantage.
The head coach Antony “Modo” Kimani is optimistic they are capable of staging an upset against the five-time champions.

“We’ve had a good two weeks to prepare for this particular match since our last game against Ethiopia Coffee SC,” Kimani said.
Adding “We have injuries but we also have enough depth and experienced players who will cover for them. The team is motivated ahead of the game and we know we will give our best,”
The team roster has defender Charles Ouma, Aboud Omar, Alfred Leku, custodian Patrick Matasi and Toha.
Kimani confirmed midfielder Kenneth Muguna is still suspended. Midfielder David ‘Messi’ Owino is nursing a knee injury while Brian Musa is out with an ankle injury suffered during the first leg against Ethiopian Coffee.
Zamalek’s coach José Manuel Martins said the Kenyan side should expect an open game.
